Who Can Learn The Ukulele?
The Ukulele Course is designed for those with no musical knowledge. I have had over 1,000 happy students, from age 6 to a grandma of 86, most of whom are Primary School students. And now with the ageing population, senior citizens want to strum and sing Oldie Evergreen songs!
Who Is Learning The Ukulele?
Learners come from all walks of life : Students, Teachers, Ex-Diplomats, Lawyers, Engineers, Secretaries, Bankers, Doctors, Pastors, Overseas Mission Staff, Tourists, Expatriates, etc. Many seniors who missed the chance to play the Ukulele in their
youths are now taking up the course.
Can The Ukulele Serve God?
During the 20 years in the choir, over 100 popular Hymns have been compiled with singable Keys and Chords to prepare for Scripture in Songs. Lately, Country Gospel songs have been added : these are also sung as Sunday Service Anthems with only
the Ukulele!
As a Methodist, my original and present mission is to train those going on overseas mission to countries like Cambodia, Vietnam, East Timor, Nepal and China where the Methodist Missions Society is supporting.
Increasingly, Churches and their Cell Groups are being taught to use the humble Ukulele for leading worship and to glorify God with.

Can The Ukulele Be Useful To Society?
Private organizations are asking their staff to be trained on the Ukulele, often to prepare for events. Hospital Geriatric Wards, Old Folks and Children’s Homes, Cancer-Survivor Groups, Visually-Impaired Groups, Prison and Drug Rehab Centres, Spastics Centres, etc are some of the area of service I volunteer in with the help of some caring students.
Ukulele Course Fee
The course fee includes a three-Module lesson of 2 hours each, a free quality adjusted and pre-tuned Soprano Ukulele, Bag, Electronic Tuner, Plectrum, Holder, Adjustable Neck Strap and a 27-song booklet with Chord Charts.
My Teaching Methodology
EXPERIENCE IS STILL THE BEST TEACHER ! With over 50 years of playing the
Guitar and Ukulele in Singapore and the UK, often competitively, students benefit from
my teaching methodology which starts by showing how to tune the Ukulele. Thus, with proper instruction on chord formation with the left hand and strumming with and without the plectrum on the right hand, the average student is able to strum and sing at least 5 songs with just 5 chords before the end of the first 2-hr module.
